Violin Meditation
Use music as a tool for accessing subconscious problem-solving. Einstein played violin when stuck on physics problems, finding that musical absorption unlocked insights that logic alone could not.
Steps
Choose an instrument or musical activity you find absorbing
Before playing, briefly hold the problem you are trying to solve in your mind
Let go of the problem and immerse yourself fully in the music for 20 minutes
After playing, sit quietly for 5 minutes and notice what thoughts arise
Write down any new angles, ideas, or connections that surfaced
