Hands-on Tinkering

Learn by building, breaking, and rebuilding with your own hands. Steve Wozniak taught himself electronics by physically constructing circuits from scratch, understanding each component through direct manipulation.

Steps

1

Pick a device, tool, or system you use daily and take it apart (or study its blueprint)

2

Identify each component and understand what it does before reassembling

3

Build a simple version of something from scratch — a circuit, a script, a mechanism

4

When something breaks, resist the urge to replace it and try to fix it first

5

Document what you learned and what surprised you in a build journal
